Privacy Policy
Effective October 28, 2026 · Last updated November 6, 2026
Most privacy policies are written to be skipped. This one is written to be read. Here is what we collect, why, who sees it, and how to make us stop.
The short version
- We collect what you type into our forms, plus a record of what you agreed to. On pages with our contact form, that record includes a replay of your visit.
- No tracking pixels, no ad cookies, no analytics scripts. The consent replay above is the only session recording we use.
- We never ask about your health, and you should not tell us.
- Downloading a guide takes only your first name and email. We use them to send you related guides and tips, and you can unsubscribe from any email.
- If you ask to talk to an agent, we share your request with the licensed agents named on our Agent List. They may pay us for the introduction, which some state laws call a "sale." You can opt out any time.
- You can see, correct or delete your information. Details on our Your Privacy Choices page.
1. Who we are
LuxKeep Insurance Agency LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("LuxKeep," "we," "us"), runs this website. LuxKeep is a licensed insurance agency in the State of Florida. We do not sell policies ourselves; we connect people with the licensed insurance agents on our Agent List. The agents on our list work with LuxKeep, not for LuxKeep. None of them is our employee.
LuxKeep Insurance Agency LLC is the data controller for the information described in this policy: we decide what is collected and why. Our contact details are in section 15.
We are not an insurance company, not a government agency, and not affiliated with any mortgage lender, bank or servicer.
2. What we collect
Only what you give us, plus the minimum needed to prove what you agreed to.
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You download a free guide | First name, email, which guide, the page address, the date and time, and whether your browser sent a Global Privacy Control signal | To send you the guide and related guides and tips by email |
| You fill in the "Connect me with an agent" form | First and last name, date of birth, mobile number, state, and what you are asking about. If you ask about final expense, whether you prefer burial or cremation. If you ask about mortgage protection, your mortgage balance and monthly payment | So the agent knows who you are and what you want help with |
| You agree to be contacted | The exact consent wording shown to you, the page address, the date and time, your verified phone number, your IP address, your browser type, whether your browser sent a Global Privacy Control signal, and, if it did, whether you confirmed you still wanted your request sent to agents | Federal and state telemarketing laws require us to prove your consent, and privacy laws require us to honor opt out signals |
| You confirm your number | Your phone number and the 6 digit code, processed by our text message provider | To make sure the number is yours |
Like every website, our hosting provider and our text message provider automatically receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type when your device connects to them. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends Google your IP address when it fetches them.
3. What we do not collect
- Health information. We never ask about medical conditions, medications or health history. Please do not include any in a form.
- Financial account numbers, Social Security numbers or government IDs. We never ask for them. Anyone who does, claiming to be us, is not us.
- Tracking data. We do not use advertising pixels or cookies for ads or analytics. The only session replay tool we use is the consent recording described in section 5.
4. How we use it
- To confirm your phone number.
- To send you the guide you asked for, and related guides and tips by email. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To connect you with the licensed agents on our Agent List, only if you asked us to.
- To keep proof of your consent, and to honor opt out and Do Not Call requests.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, such as fake numbers or automated submissions.
- To comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Legal grounds for each use
Every use above rests on a specific legal ground. Where that ground is your consent, you can take it back at any time (see section 7), and withdrawing it does not undo what we lawfully did beforehand.
| What we do | Legal ground |
|---|---|
| Confirm your phone number | Your consent, and performance of the request you made to us |
| Email you guides and tips after you download a guide | Our legitimate interest in following up on the guide you asked for. You can unsubscribe from any email. |
| Send your request to the licensed agents on our Agent List | Your consent, given separately and recorded. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we rely only on the extra confirmation you tick. |
| Keep proof of consent, and keep opt out and do not call records | Our legal obligation under federal and state telemarketing and privacy rules |
| Prevent fraud and abuse, such as fake numbers or automated submissions | Our legitimate interest in keeping this site, and the agents we work with, free from abuse. We use the minimum information needed for it. |
| Respond to subpoenas, court orders and regulators | Our legal obligation |
| Defend our rights, or transfer records in a merger or sale of the business | Our legitimate interest in running and protecting the business |
5. Who we share it with
The agents you asked for
If you ask to be contacted, we send your request to the licensed insurance agents named on our Agent List. Each is an independent licensed insurance agent who works with LuxKeep, not for LuxKeep. A guide download is never shared with them. Once an agent has your request, their own privacy notice also applies, and insurance privacy laws (including the Gramm Leach Bliley Act and state insurance privacy rules) govern how they handle it.
Service providers
Companies that work for us under contract and may use your information only to provide their service to us:
- Our text message verification provider (Twilio), which sends and checks your code.
- TrustedForm, from ActiveProspect, which makes a consent certificate. On pages with our contact form it records your visit from the time the page loads, even if you do not send the form. The record includes a replay of what you typed and clicked, the wording you saw, the page, and browser and device details. We use it to prove what you agreed to. Date of birth, mortgage amounts, your text code and guide sign-up details are hidden from the replay.
- Our website host, Cloudflare.
- Our email providers: Resend, which sends the email with your guide, and Google, which holds our inbox.
When the law requires it
We may disclose information to comply with a subpoena, court order or regulator's request, to protect anyone's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
Where your information is stored
We keep everything in the United States, and our providers (Twilio and Cloudflare) store it there for us. We do not transfer your information outside the United States, so no cross border transfer safeguards apply. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first.
That is the whole list. We do not sell or rent your information to data brokers, and we do not share it with anyone who is not on our Agent List or listed above.
6. Sales, sharing and opting out
Each agent pays us a fee when we introduce them to someone who asked for contact. Some state privacy laws, including California's, treat that as a "sale" of personal information, so we treat it that way everywhere.
- Opt out any time on our Your Privacy Choices page.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends the GPC signal, our forms will not send your request to agents unless you tick a separate box confirming that you want them to. If you do not tick it, nothing is sent. We record the signal, and your confirmation, with your request.
- We do not "share" information for advertising based on your activity on other sites and apps, because we do no targeted advertising with your data.
- We do not knowingly sell or share information of anyone under 18.
7. Calls, texts and Do Not Call
Giving consent to be contacted is never required to buy anything. If you gave it, you can take it back at any time, in any reasonable way:
- Reply STOP to any text.
- Tell any agent who calls to put you on their do not call list.
- Email info@luxkeep.org with the phone number you used.
We pass your opt out request to every agent who received your request and keep it on our own internal do not call list.
Text message data. Mobile information collected for text messages, including your text message opt-in and consent, is never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes, with one exception you choose. If you ask to be contacted, your phone number goes to the agents on our Agent List so they can call or text you about your request. It goes to no one else for marketing. Our service providers in section 5 receive it only to do their work for us, such as delivering messages.
8. How long we keep it
- Consent records (wording, time, page, verified number, consent certificate): at least five years, because federal telemarketing rules require it.
- Request details (name, email, state and the rest): 24 months after your last request, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Verification codes: handled by our text provider and expire within minutes.
- Opt out and do not call requests: kept for as long as needed to keep honoring them.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have about you, and get a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Get a copy in a portable, machine readable format (we send CSV or JSON) and have us send it to someone else where that is technically possible.
- Tell us to stop using your information, or object to a particular use, while we look into a correction, an objection or a complaint.
- Delete your information, subject to records the law requires us to keep, such as consent and do not call records.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information.
- Appeal if we turn down your request.
We extend these rights to everyone, whatever state you live in. Use our Your Privacy Choices page. We will confirm we received your request within 10 business days and answer within 45 days. To protect you, we verify requests by matching the phone number or email you gave us. You can also use an authorized agent, who must show your signed permission. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.
To appeal a decision, reply to our answer with "Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days.
Complaining to a regulator
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your information or your request, you can complain to a regulator as well as to us. You do not have to go through us first.
- Your state attorney general. Florida residents can reach the Florida Attorney General at myfloridalegal.com; every other state has an equivalent office.
- Federal Trade Commission, for privacy and unfair practice complaints, at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
- Federal Communications Commission, for unwanted calls and texts, at consumercomplaints.fcc.gov. You can also add your number to the National Do Not Call Registry at donotcall.gov.
If you are outside the United States. LuxKeep is based in Florida and this site is meant for United States residents only; we do not market to, or seek requests from, people in the European Union or the United Kingdom. If you use the site from there anyway, LuxKeep Insurance Agency LLC is the controller of the information you give us, the grounds in section 4 are the legal bases we rely on, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of the country where you live or work — for example the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom. You can reach us about any of this at the address in section 15.
10. Notices for specific states
California
In the last 12 months we collected these categories: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address); characteristics of protected classifications (age, from your date of birth); commercial information (product interest, burial or cremation preference, mortgage balance and monthly payment); and internet activity limited to the consent record described above. We collected them from you, for the purposes in section 4, and disclosed them to the parties in section 5. We sold name, date of birth, phone number, state, product interest and the burial, cremation or mortgage details in your request to licensed insurance agents, only for people who asked for contact. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by California law. California's "Shine the Light" law lets you ask what we shared for direct marketing; use the contact details below.
Florida, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and other states with privacy laws
The rights in section 9 apply to you, including the right to opt out of the sale of personal data, and the right to appeal.
Nevada
You can ask us not to sell your covered information using the same opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page.
Do Not Track
There is no agreed standard for the browser "Do Not Track" setting, so we do not respond to it. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals, as described in sections 2 and 4.
11. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), keep our text message keys off the website, limit who can access request records, and sign verification tokens so they cannot be forged. No system is perfect.
If there is a breach
If personal information is exposed, we shut off the cause, work out who is affected and what was involved, and notify you by email and text at the contact details you gave us, without unreasonable delay and within the deadline your state law sets. We notify the attorney general or other regulator where the law requires, and we tell you what was exposed and what to do about it. If an EU or UK resident is affected, we notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware.
12. Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
13. Links to other websites
Our pages may link to other sites, such as government agencies, insurance regulators or the partners on our list. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them. Read their policies before you share anything there.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information we already have, we will ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
